WELCOME to my blog. I’ve never blogged before and had some apprehension that I may not be doing it “right.” True to form, I did some research and visited some other estate planning blogs to see how they do it. (And no, I did not steal any ideas or content.) I am not sure I learned very much as the other blogs vary widely in content and format. So my apologies to any of you more tech savvy visitors if I occasionally breach decorum. (Oh, and please feel free to let me know of anything you think could improve my blog.)
Over the years, I have had lots of questions from lots of clients. Some are more common than others, so what I thought I would do is present some of the questions I have fielded over the years along with my answer. In addition, I invite any readers to submit questions and I’ll try to answer them too. The idea is that by doing so I can hopefully provide you with some useful information. I’ll try to post an entry at least once a week, but we will see how it goes.
For the time being, I plan to limit the topics to estate planning and tax controversy. If you have a question outside that scope, submit it anyway and I’ll try to answer if I can. I addition, I reserve the right to comment on issues outside the legal world or even tell you about the great soccer game my daughter had last weekend. In short, I hope to spice it up a little so that it is fun and useful and maybe you’ll visit again.
